Google has a new Logo
So, Google has changed it’s Logo.
It has now become more flat and more playful. Though the wording is same, Google has changed the font but is sticking on to it’s 4-color scheme, the Google Colors. If you notice, they have also changed the small blue-colored ‘g’ that it used to have on all it’s products. This is also changed to a capital ‘G’ colored in Google Colors.

All are saying that this is the biggest change in 17 years, except that the big restructuring that they announced a month ago. Is this change a result of Sundar Pichai taking over the reigns of Google?
What Google has to say about the change?
According to Google’s official blog, the company touches the consumer’s life using more-than-one technology now. Be it Youtube or Blogger or Documents, they have grown from being a Desktop service to everything that you can think of that connects you to the Internet. To represent this vast family of products, they needed a simpler logo which is easy to read, on all devices. Even if it is a tiny screen, Google’s logo should be downloadable.
